63 – Dreadful Doldrums

Poem number 63
.
Deadly Doldrums
.
Drifting, down through deadly depths
Of dark does death descend
Drowning, dissolution
Dirty deities depend
On damp, demure destruction
Dreadful doldrums, dim and dun
Destroy, distend, deliberate
Diminish. Day is done.
