66 – Polymorph

Poem number 66
.
Polymorph
.
Empty. Like a coffee cup
With stains all up one side
Crooked like a picture frame
Dead flowers cut and dried
Nothing left but bitterness
The sugar long dissolved
Empty, now, of feeling
Painted over
Blank
Absolved.
