113 – Spend, Sir Winston, Spend!

Poem number 113
.
Spend, Sir Winston, Spend!
.
Oh dearie me Sir Winston Blunt
Your house is rather small
It only has nine bedrooms
And no chandelier at all
You have no upstairs bidet
There’s no cloakroom for the maid
The garden’s just an acre
And it doesn’t make the grade.
If you want to wed my daughter
Then you’ll have to spend some dosh
On a larger, better house and grounds
Less bijou, much more posh,
My daughter is a princess
Not just lower classless scum –
So sort it out you cheapskate
And stop living in a slum!
