202 – Tiny Love

Poem number 202
.
Tiny Love
.
I yearn to touch your tiny face
To see your tiny eyes
To groom your tiny bouffant hair
And stroke your tiny thighs
But alas I fear I’ve lost you
You’re too tiny to be found
How I wish I’d paid attention
When I put you on the ground
How I wish I’d put a homing bug
Inside your tiny shoes
If I had then I could find you
And I wouldn’t have the blues
And I wouldn’t have the nagging fear
The gnawing, aching dread
That I’ve trodden on your tiny face
And squished your tiny head.
