230 – April Clouds

Poem number 230
April Clouds
The clouds are abstract denizens of skies an abstract blue,
Shades of white and grey abound, a nameless abstract hue.
They seem to have no bottom, simply fading into sight
Halfway up their abstract fluffiness where grey blends into light.
Drifting gently on the spot as ships tied to the bed
Of the sea, by abstract anchors never seen but in your head.
Gigantic in serenity, just abstracts in the sky
Floating never onwards, to distract my abstract eye.
