348 -You Can’t Give Babies Booze

Poem number 348
You Can’t Give Babies Booze
You can’t give babies booze they said
You’ll only make them ill
You can’t take babies to the pub
And let them drink their fill.
You can’t give babies beer they said
Or booze of any sort
A baby cannot cope with gin
A baby won’t like port
But ha! They’re talking rubbish
‘Cause I give my baby wine
I give him Scotch on Sundays
And he’s absolutely fine!
You CAN give babies booze I say
So go on – have a bash!
Get that baby suited up
And take him on the lash!
