409 – The Bogeyman

Poem number 409
.
The Bogeyman
.
Go to sleep little boy
Go to sleep, go to sleep
Ignore the sound of breathing from below
.
Fall asleep little boy
Fall asleep, fall asleep
Safe and sound ‘til morning, off you go
.
You’re asleep, little boy
You’re asleep, you’re asleep
So I’m crawling out from underneath the bed
.
I’m awake, little boy
I’m awake, I’m awake
You were sleeping, but I just ripped off your head.
.
And now I feast.
